Videotapes
Many videotapes, whether consumer or professional formats, are at the end of their useful lifetimes, and will soon be unplayable - if you even have a deck to play them - so it’s definitely a good idea to have this material transferred to digital files. We have carefully maintained video and audio decks that will provide excellent quality for transferring your important footage. We evaluate each tape, and we use a dehydration routine to remove enough moisture to make tapes playable again when this is needed. We pay special attention to the quality of the video and audio signals on them, making needed adjustments, to get you the best possible quality.
We can give you the digitized files in any format - MPEG-4, Quicktime and many others. And we can get the files to you in several ways - by a file transfer service, on a flash drive or hard drive, or on DVDs.
Audio cassettes, audiotapes and LP records
We can also digitize any of your audio media, including cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes and DAT tapes, and LP records. We can give you MP3 files, which will be playable on any device, or for higher quality, WAVE and AIFF files. We can make audio CDs if you'd like.
